Misadventures of a minority-elect President 17

Trump’s baseless, paranoid claims that Obama is behind the massive protests against him, Trump’s approval ratings still falling, White House plants Fake News stories to smear reporters, White House trying to orchestrate a cover up of Trump’s ties to Russia, treason and treachery from the U.S. Congress, Trump’s accomplishments – or lack thereof – during his first month in office, what the New York Times and Trump have in common, the latest in Trump’s fake news in his war with the media, two words Trump says every time he lies, FBI may be too compromised to investigate Trump’s ties to Russia, the more Trump denies things the bigger the hole he digs himself, questions of who is actually in charge at the White House, even George W. Bush – the one man Trump makes look good – is speaking out against our minority-elect President, GOP refusing to make Trump release his tax returns and more.

Trump’s Approval Ratings Still In Free Fall article from the International Business Times. –
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trumps-approval-ratings-still-free-144510783.html

“President Donald Trump was well on his way this week to cementing a presidential record for the least-approved first 100 days in American history.

A poll released Sunday night by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal indicated Trump was continuing to face the lowest approval ratings for any incoming president in recent years, with the majority of Americans disapproving of Trump’s first few weeks on the job. About 48 percent of those surveyed said they viewed the president’s performance unfavorably, compared to 44 percent who approved of Trump’s first 100 days thus far.

The joint survey was conducted from Feb. 18-22 and surveyed 1,000 Americans across the United States. But its results weren’t out of the ordinary: Trump’s approval ratings have continued to sink to new lows amid ongoing investigations into his presidential campaign’s ties to Russian government operatives, as well as his continued Twitter spats with everyone from Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-V.t, to the national intelligence community’s FBI and CIA…”

The U.S. Government’s Deceptive Israeli Relationship

Since Vice President Biden’s visit to Israel last week, over comments on Israel’s expansion and lack of peace plans, Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. reportedly told Israeli media that ties between Israel and the U.S. are the “worst they’ve been in 35 years.” Maybe, but as the U.S. government’s deceptive Israeli relationship has repeatedly shown, probably not.

Both the U.S. and Israeli governments have deceived their citizens for decades so it’s probably just more smoke. The relationship between the Israeli and the U.S. government — most of which reportedly have to pass a ‘pro-Israel’ litmus test — probably hasn’t been affected much since Israel is the most visited foreign country by U.S. politicians. In fact, most members of the U.S. Congress are constantly protecting the Israeli government and the crimes they commit, especially when it comes to war crimes committed in Gaza.

Much of the ‘News’ fed to American by the corporate media is designed to be intentionally deceptive and one sided, often leaning towards information Israel wants Americans to believe, because many of the ‘News’ reporters and writers either have dual Isreali-American citizenship or have extremely close ties to Israel. Having Israeli citizens writing the ‘News’ for Americans has proved extremely relevant in keeping treason and a host of other crimes committed by the U.S. and Israeli governments covered up.

Americans give Israel billions of dollars of our tax money each year. The vast majority of what our military does, especially when it comes to the never-ending ‘wars’ in Afghanistan and Iraq are done because that’s what Israel wants. Neocons in the Bush administration bent over backwards for 8 years to please Israel while destroying this country. If more Americans knew the truth about the relationship between America and Israel, things would probably change.

Karl Rove’s Latest Attempt to Rewrite History and Save Bush’s Legacy

A soon-to-be-released book by Karl Rove is the latest attempt from disgraced former Bush administration officials to rewrite history and George W. Bush’s legacy. According to the Associated Press, which has a copy of the book that will be released Tuesday, Rove blames himself for not pushing back against claims that President George W. Bush took the country to war with Iraq under false pretenses, referring to it as one of the worst mistakes he made during the Bush presidency.

Despite evidence documenting, among other things, at least 935 lies used by the Bush administration to get public support for invading Iraq, Rove claims Bush did not knowlingly mislead the American public about alleged weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). It’s also well known that the U.S. intended to invade Iraq two years before Bush was appointed to the Presidency by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Setting aside the fact that the vast majority of the Bush presidency was nothing but false premises and lies designed to subvert the Constitution and American rights and freedoms while enriching a select, corrupt few, there are many other factors that Rove has selectively forgotten or intentionally lied about in his attempt to save Bush’s legacy.

Rove is the latest in the long line of Bush administration officials who, in addition to trying to save face and Bush’s legacy, are desperate to make sure they’re not held accountable for their crimes against humanity and acts of treason against the U.S.

Cheney Admits to Colluding and Conspiring to Torture

During a recent television appearance, former Vice President Dick Cheney wantonly — and proudly — admitted to violating section 2340A of the federal criminal code that makes it an offense to torture or to conspire to torture.

In a normal criminal justice system that hasn’t been subverted by corrupted politicians and lawyers, Cheney would have convicted himself with his confession, but in the U.S. — at least for now — the justice system does not apply to politicians regardless of how corrupt and treasonous they are.

This past Sunday, Cheney admitted to being ‘a big supporter of water boarding,’ which, depending upon who is doing it, has been regarded as torture and a serious war crime. As noted by AlterNet, Japanese commanders were prosecuted for using it on American prisoners during World War II. Those rules — according to the government — don’t apply to U.S. politicians who illegally lie this country to war. The hypocrisy really is astounding.

In the U.S. however, it is deemed ‘justifiable’ when highly politicized ‘Justice’ Department lawyers illegally say it is. In Cheney’s warped sense of reality, water boarding should still be ‘on the table.’
