Dangers of Delusional Dictatorial Democracy

In what reportedly amounts to one of the defining moments of President Bush’s legacy, the Bush administration has proposed an affirmation that the United States is still at war with Al Qaeda — one of many enemies created by the U.S. government, supported financially, militarily trained and supplied with military weapons, whose sole purpose is to serve as an excuse to continue extremely illegal activities — asserting that many Americans may have forgotten that.

How could Americans forget that? We’ve been repeatedly reminded by numerous illicit acts concocted by the Bush administration since the attacks on 9/11/01 were allowed to happen. The 9/11 attacks were followed up a week later with deadly high-grade military strength anthrax that took the lives of innocent Congress people and journalists — although no one in the White House was affected since they were all ordered to take cypro, the antidote for anthrax the night of 9/11/01 — that were authorized by high-ranking officials in the Bush administration. The depths of corruption in the Bush administration are limitless. We’ve been fed lies and illegal propaganda ever since that has resulted in the destruction of the Constitution, Civil Liberties and Rights, in addition to the genocide in the Middle East which has resulted in wealthy gains for a select few while destroying Democracy along the way. There is no way we could forget.

The proposal is for hearing legal appeals from detainees at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The proposal carries significant legal and public policy implications for Bush and his successor — like the illicit legislation passed by Congress after a couple Congressmen were murdered to influence passage of the previously prepared legislation that was proposed right after the attacks of 9/11 by the Bush administration. Nothing has been done by our politicians in Washington to stop President Bush’s delusional attempts at dictatorship. Impunity is assumed by those in power, and conveniently condoned by the vast majority of those politicians in Washington, some of which profit financially and politically as a result. Too many innocent people all over the world are dying as a result of corrupted politics that are destroying Democracy.

Bush is trying to coerce Congress into re-establishing his broad, illegal and lie-based interpretation of the president’s wartime powers despite challenges from the Supreme Court and some in Congress. House Speaker Pelosi needs to pull her head out and allow impeachment proceedings to occur. Pelosi is illegally impeding and obstructing justice, and is also eligible for impeachment. It would behoove Congress to start looking after the people they’ve been elected to represent for once and quit covering up all the illegally activities they’ve condoned for entirely too long now. A lot more information on Bush’s proposal can be found from The Washington Post.

U.S. Media’s Growing Credibility Problem

Many times in the past I’ve written about some of the problems with Corporately owned media and how they cover up crimes and push bold faced lies for the Washington establishment, particularly for President Bush. For the past few weeks their credibility has taken a harder beating — the conflict in Georgia, the 3-years-in-the-making report about the implosion of World Trade Center (WTC) building 7, and the current presidential race are just a few of the latest stories making corporately owned media look bad.

The war in Georgia is a great example of how the media skewers facts to manipulate public opinion. Georgia’s attack on South Ossetia, conveniently timed to start with the opening of the 2008 Olympics, was conducted with U.S. approval. Georgia’s military is funded, trained and supported by the American military as well as Israeli’s military and intelligence. Russia’s quick military response to Georgia’s attack seemed to surprise the Bush administration. A look at the puppet masters behind Georgian President Saakashvili can be found from Information Clearing House. Once the Bush administration started their hypocritical rhetoric blaming Russia, corporately owned media followed suit and created “news” that suited the requirements of the Bush administration.

As noted by The World Socialist Web Site:

“The media presentation of the Georgia crisis is a textbook example of the way in which the “free press” in America functions as little more than a semi-official propaganda agency of the government.”

Unfair and Unbalanced Reporting

An article from The Washington Post written by a Russian citizen studying journalism in the U.S. notes that the journalism of Watergate is well behind us and reporting in the U.S. is no longer fair and balanced.

Paving The Way For Election Fraud 2008

Faulty legislation passed by Congress in 2002 — The Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), was hastily passed to avoid repeating the problems with the 2000 presidential election, when Bush was illicitly appointed to the presidendy by the U.S. Supreme Court — caused many states to invest in electronic voting systems in hopes that it would eliminate hanging chad problems, and other problems found in paper-based voting systems. The legislation is faulty because it opens loopholes that allow states to prejudice blocks of voters and make sure they can’t vote.

Six years later, many of the electronic voting machines are fraught with security and software glitches, designed to intentionally cause more harm than good. Electronic voting machines allowed voters and poll workers to place multiple votes, load viruses that crashed the machines and fake vote tallies, oftentimes flipping votes from one candidate to another. Many machines still have no paper trail that would allow results to be verified and audited later.

The only people involved in checking these systems are the vendors wanting to sell their equipment — some of which were later found to be adament supporters of one presidential candidate over another — and the local election officials who were ill-equipped to understand the security issues. Vendors of the machines had a certification process in place, but the certification process had little if anything to do with security. A very disturbing report regarding electronic voting machines and how they can be manipulated to get the desired results can be found from The Scientific American.

Millions of people — whose names aren’t intentionally purged to help Republicans win elections in heavily populated, potentially Democratic States — will be using reportedly flawed voting machines that won’t be fixed in time for the presidential election, allegedly because of a government backlog on testing the machines’ hardware and software.

Forgery, Fabrications And Charades Of Justice

The damage done by the most corrupt, neverelected presidential administration in the history of the U.S. continues growing at a rapid rate — the latest corruption includes forging letters to justify an illegal war started with false flags and lies, phony military and civilian justice, endless propaganda, the misuse of ‘the war on terror’ to instill a dictatorship…the list goes on and on — coupled with the help of corrupt politicians and federal judges mixed with unethical journalism continues wreaking havoc, imperiling America  and everything it stands for.

An article describing why misgovernment was no accident in Bush’s Washington from The Nation details some of the corruption under Bush in Washington, and the extraordinary incompetence of the executive branch that has coincided with both the political triumph of conservatism and the rise of the Washington area to the richest rank of American metropolises.

Politicians have made careers out of lying — using Doublespeak and Newspeak for so long they actually believe that lies are truth and that freedom is slavery — and ‘CHANGE’ has long been one farce among the mountains of propaganda that have arisen from the never-ending lies, yet most Americans still believe that they’re living in a free country with laws designed to protect the citizens from any and all attacks, because failing to believe this makes people seem ‘un-American,’ which is wrong. Not questioning the blatantly obvious corruption our Federal government has gotten away with these past seven and a half years is ‘un-American.’ A lot of information can be found in the ‘Everybody Knows!’ article from Rense.com.

The Rand Corporation, the top advisor to the U.S. Military confirmed what has been known by some for a long time — the U.S. “War On Terror” is a hoax, and the battlefield is not the solution to fighting it. A press release stating that the U.S. should rethink the war on terrorism strategy to deal with al Qaida and the report from the Rand Corporation can be found on their web site. It’s not the first time false flags and lies have been used to start a war. A partial list of crimes and misdemeanors committed by the Bush administration can be found at Slate. The only thing the war on terror has done is destroy America’s civil liberties and weakened the U.S. More on Bush’s terror error can be found at The Daily Kos.

U.S. WMDs: The Gifts That Keep On Killing

While the Bush administration and the U.S. Military would have you believe that a little over 4,100 U.S. soldiers have been killed in action while fighting Bush’s illegal war, the real death count is even more shocking — U.S. government data shows that over 70,000 American soldiers have died and over 1 million are disabled as a result of being exposed to radiation poisoning from U.S. weaponry — Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) that were made in America.

An Iraq War veteran who served this country for almost 9 years was one of the many veterans who was diagnosed with a disease caused from exposure to radiation and/or inhaling metal fragments or dust-like particles. Matthew Bumpus was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in 2006 — a form of cancer that can take years to manifest. Because it can take years, the VA denied his benefits.

Mr. Bumpus died from his illness the morning of August 3, 2008, leaving behind his wife and two kids. This, unfortunately, is becoming more and more common. Excerpts from Mr. Bumpus’ letter to Congress attempting to get some aid can be found a little further below.

The military, in typical Bush administration fashion, continues covering up information regarding the deaths of those brave men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice while fighting Bush’s illegal wars. The U.S. military has killed more of its own soldiers than both of Bush’s wars have. In typical zionistic corporate media ownership fashion, the corporate press continues ignoring this problem so more people aren’t made aware of it.

Soldiers Are Pawns In The President’s Wars

When they’re not busy destroying our military, creating propaganda or ordering our troops to slaughter innocent Iraqi’s, leaders of the U.S. Military in the Pentagon are busy covering up a smorgasbord of other atrocities committed both against and by our troops: being poisoned by illegally used radioactive weaponry, rape, and in some cases murder, of female troops by their male counterparts, contractors from Vice President Cheney’s previous employer killing and sickening our troops while making billions in profits, censoring the Iraq war so American’s don’t know the atrocities of it, ordering witnesses to ignore subpoenas to keep crimes covered up and numerous other atrocities committed against our troops by the Bush administration and the politicized Pentagon are detailed below.

Apparently our military leaders and the Bush administration believe, as Henry Kissinger once said, that “military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in Foreign Policy.”

Retired officers have reportedly been used — and are still being used by some of the corporate media outlets — to generate favorable news coverage of the Bush administration’s wartime performance. In other words, they’re illegally spreading propaganda for Bush and the Pentagon.

Obviously, the strain of two wars coupled with the threat of a third against Iran and possibly one more exacts a heavy toll on the U.S. military. Our brave men and women have enough to deal with without military leaders making their lives more difficult.
