Dangers of Delusional Dictatorial Democracy

In what reportedly amounts to one of the defining moments of President Bush’s legacy, the Bush administration has proposed an affirmation that the United States is still at war with Al Qaeda — one of many enemies created by the U.S. government, supported financially, militarily trained and supplied with military weapons, whose sole purpose is to serve as an excuse to continue extremely illegal activities — asserting that many Americans may have forgotten that.

How could Americans forget that? We’ve been repeatedly reminded by numerous illicit acts concocted by the Bush administration since the attacks on 9/11/01 were allowed to happen. The 9/11 attacks were followed up a week later with deadly high-grade military strength anthrax that took the lives of innocent Congress people and journalists — although no one in the White House was affected since they were all ordered to take cypro, the antidote for anthrax the night of 9/11/01 — that were authorized by high-ranking officials in the Bush administration. The depths of corruption in the Bush administration are limitless. We’ve been fed lies and illegal propaganda ever since that has resulted in the destruction of the Constitution, Civil Liberties and Rights, in addition to the genocide in the Middle East which has resulted in wealthy gains for a select few while destroying Democracy along the way. There is no way we could forget.

The proposal is for hearing legal appeals from detainees at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The proposal carries significant legal and public policy implications for Bush and his successor — like the illicit legislation passed by Congress after a couple Congressmen were murdered to influence passage of the previously prepared legislation that was proposed right after the attacks of 9/11 by the Bush administration. Nothing has been done by our politicians in Washington to stop President Bush’s delusional attempts at dictatorship. Impunity is assumed by those in power, and conveniently condoned by the vast majority of those politicians in Washington, some of which profit financially and politically as a result. Too many innocent people all over the world are dying as a result of corrupted politics that are destroying Democracy.

Bush is trying to coerce Congress into re-establishing his broad, illegal and lie-based interpretation of the president’s wartime powers despite challenges from the Supreme Court and some in Congress. House Speaker Pelosi needs to pull her head out and allow impeachment proceedings to occur. Pelosi is illegally impeding and obstructing justice, and is also eligible for impeachment. It would behoove Congress to start looking after the people they’ve been elected to represent for once and quit covering up all the illegally activities they’ve condoned for entirely too long now. A lot more information on Bush’s proposal can be found from The Washington Post.
